  I have two very dear sisters . One of them is shashi Narthana . She is the daughter of my mother's sister. She's like my best friend. She was born on 1999.10.04.she was educated at Sangamitta balika college . She lives in Galle . she has now been selected for University of colombo. She is very kind . She can dance very beautifully .      She always calls or talks to me and inquiries about me. She is also a very good friend and sister. My second sister is Ayodya Dilshani. She is the daughter of  my mother's brother.She was born on 1998.11.16. She is also a good friend of mine. She lives inthe Giriulla area  She was educated at Wikramashila National school. She is currently studing at the University of Kelaniya .She is also very kind. She can dance very beautifully .  These are the two best friends . I have ever had in mt life .l love my two sisters very much. 

  Natural disasters are increasing all over the world day by day. One of it is flood. The death rate of people is increasing annually more than from other natural disasters. It is higher than 20,000. 75 millions of population suffer from the flood annually in the world. The flood prevails slowly or fast. It may prevail for many days or weeks. As an example , main roads of Kudaligama and Naboda and Suburbs can be taken. In those areas , the flood has lasted about 11 days. Actually , the flood , is weather disaster. The secondary effect of the flood is rain , wasuli , or rainstorm. Further because of the flood , landslide , river bank eruptions , breaking of the dams and the spread of epidemic diseases may spread. Also many other disasters may happen . There fore the flood can be taken as a natural disaster. Generally thee flood can be happen in two ways. It flash flood and regional flood.   My school is holy family Girl's college. It is located in the Kurunegala area. My  school is a Catholic school in the main town of Kurunegala. But there are students of all races such as Buddhist , Catholic and Muslim . There are 1 to 13 students studying . The whole school has about 3500 students. The principal of my school is sister Priyani, My school produces very useful students for the society . My school wins the school netball championship every year in Sri Lanka. My school sisters take the pride of the school to the society in a very disciplined manner.   I love my school very much and it is second mother . 

  My second hero is my brother. He is 26 years old. He is married and he has a little son. His wife is a house wife. My brother is working in the Municipal council - colombo. He comes home once a week.                                      In his schooling , he was a good sportsman. He was clever at volleyball, cricket , high jump, long jump and running events. Also he is clever at music. He was also a bright student in his schooling.  He always looks after me as a father. He always advises me to study and how to live in the society . He loves my mother a lot. He respects my father too. Sometimes he is a father , sometimes he is a friend and also a loving brother to me. Actually he loves m e a lot.

  My boy friend is Akila Pabasara . He is the most wonderful gift I have ever received in my life. He has been my best friend for long time. He undertands me in many places in life. He was my boyfriend on 2021.07.18 . He is my best friend , my brother and sometimes my father.                                Since He is studying on my university , He helps both of us a lot in education. I will never forget the first day I went to see him. The first time I saw him I could not express my warm love for him. I'm one of always talks a lot. I love to hear him speak. His village is Mahiyanganaya. He lives very far away but he is very close to my heart.  His mother is teacher . He has one sister . He respects him parents and elders. That's why I appreciate him so much. I will take care of her with so much love every day of my life . The reason is that he is very valuable to me and I love him very much.

  I have heard and I have read so many heroes. Most of them are world famous persons. They have done brave deeds. That's why they are known as heroes.                                                              But my hero is my loving father. He is always not with me as my mother. He speaks little words with me and with family members. Some may not have seen it but it is the most popular machine not only in Sri  Lanka but in the whole world. The computer is a part of life. But there are both advantages and disadvantages in using a computer.                  In this age of information explosion with the development of  technology , there is a need to use computers. It helps to information fast by just clicking a button. On the other hand the range of information is so wide that selecting what you need can be troublesome unlike a book which has limited content However information about any subject is easily accessible on the computer .   Environment is our surrounding. It includes trees, animal , rivers, buildings, furniture ect. Mainly environment can be divided into two main parts. They are natural environment and the man made environment.  The environment Provide us with many things. Trees and animals provide food for us. Trees purify the environment they give us medicine, shade and many things. Although the environment provide us many benefits, man pollute the environment in many ways. People pollute the environment by dumping garbage on roads and in water ways. The pipes containing our waster matter are released to the oceans. We use harmful fertilizer in agriculture and then either bury them in soil or throw them into rivers. People cut down trees. They release harmful gases to the atmosphere. We pollute the land , water and air which mother nature has given us.   I have several activity that I do when I am free. Most of the time I have to engage in my studies. Any how, I try to get a chance to engage in useful activity as my hobby.  Actually I engage in several activities. Sometimes I enjoy watching T.V. Really it is a useful way to spend my free time. I like to play with my friends, have a bath in the river and do gardening with my parents. Besides all those activities. I like reading books very much. That is my favourite free time activity.                                       I read books, relevant to my studies most of the time. Also I like to read novels. It aovoids the monotony of my life.
